ESPN Monday Night Football TV Schedule: Game Starting Time and Channel Coverage For Dolphins and Saints

The Monday Night Football schedule heads down South for Week 4, as the Superdome will be the host to the Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints for a prime matchup of undefeated teams at 3-0 and each will be looking for the victory.

The Saints are coming into the game after a dominating win over the Cardinals last week and the Dolphins are feeling good after beating the 2012 NFC South champion Atlanta Falcons and since both teams are undefeated, only one will be leaving without a blemish on their record. The game will be on at 8:30 pm on Monday night and the fun will get started at 7pm with Monday night kickoff and that will lead into the broadcast with Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden on ESPN in the booth.

The Monday night schedule sometimes doesn't have the best games since ESPN got the deal based on some of those better matchups going to the NBC night game, but this is a case where the best matchup of the week is being saved for last. Neither the Dolphins or the Saints made it to the playoffs last season, but now that both are 3-0, chances are good that they each will be in the postseason come January.

The Saints are more experienced in that regard, having won a Super Bowl with Drew Brees a few years ago, while the Dolphins arte simply trying to get back to their consistent ways. Brees is the key for the Saints and this season Ryan Tannehill has been key for the Dolphins, completing over 60 percent of his passes in each game so far and if he can do that again on Monday against a top ranked Saints pass defense by yards per game, Miami will be in good position to win.

Both of these teams will play again on Monday night later in the season and the next matchup after this one will be in Week 5, as the New York Jets will travel to play the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome. In Week 6 the game will take a West coast flavor, as the Colts will travel to Cali for the second time in three weeks to play against the Chargers after just beating the 49ers in San Francisco. The Giants and Vikings will play in Week 7 and hopefully the Giants have at least one win by then, while the Seahawks and Rams will be playing in Week 8 in an NFC West matchup.

The Chicago Bears and Packers have a primetime matchup in Week 9 that is always interesting out of the NFC North, while the following week the Dolphins will be back on MNF against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an all-Florida matchup. The Week 11 game has the Patriots and the Panthers, while in Week 12 the matchup is a good one with the 49ers and the Redskins.

The Saints will be back on MNF the next week for a road game against the Seahawks in a playoff rematch from a few years ago and then the season finishes off with Dallas and Chicago, the Ravens and Lions and the Falcons and Niners in Week 16 for the final matchup.
