The Pirates will look to score more runs than they did yesterday. I mean, the logic is that if a team only scores one run, they expect their starting pitcher to be lights out or the bullpen to hold a very slim lead. The Pirates were stymied yesterday by the Cardinals. Pedro Alvarez was able to avoid the goose egg as he sent a bomb over the right field wall. However, that was not enough to get the Pirates the victory as A.J. Burnett struggled in Game 1.

Rest assure, the Cardinals' offense will take advantage if Pirates' rookie, Gerrit Cole, decides to make mistakes and shows up nervouse.
