Red Sox, Rays Playoff TV Schedule: Channel, Time, Pitching Matchups for Game 4 of ALDS

The Tampa Bay Rays said "Hello no! We won't go!" winning Game 3 and avoiding sweep. The Boston Red Sox, once again, have a chance to clinch the ALDS series, but this time in Game 4. Check out playoffs TV schedule as the Red Sox and Rays hook up in another ALDS game with the Red Sox looking to win it all, while the Rays look forward to a Game 5.

Game Time: 8:30 p.m. ET

TV Channel- Where to Watch: TBS

Pitching Matchup: Jeremy Hellickson vs. Jake Peavy

Old blood versus new blood in Game 4. Hellickson has already grabbed awards, rewarding him on his great efforts as a rookie in 2011. Peavy is the 2007 Cy Young Award winner. Both guys are gunning for the big silverware as they attempt to take their teams out of the ALDS. However, the Rays have no margin for error, once again, facing elimination in Game 4. The Red Sox could not close the door in Game 3, allowing the Rays to win in the ninth, making the series 2-1.

The Red Sox struck first in the series, winning Game 1 after the Rays committed multiple miscues. The final score read 12-2 after a rocky start by Jon Lester, who surrendered two solo home runs early in the game. The Red Sox then took a 2-0 lead in Game 2 as Big Papi homered twice, providing insurance late in the game. Ultimately, the Red Sox won 7-4 as the Rays had no answer for Boston's mighty offense.

The Rays then struck back in Game 3, using the long ball as their fuel. Evan Longoria smacked a towering 3-run home run off Clay Buchholz to tie in the fifth inning. Then Jose Lobaton, the Venezuelan backup catcher, smacked the game-winning solo shot, sending the series to a Game 4 and keeping the Rays alive in the race.

That was the Rays' third elimination game won in the 2013 postseason. The Rays defeated the Texas Rangers to get to the A.L. Wild Card Game and then topped the Cleveland Indians to get to the Boston Red Sox in the ALDS. The Rays are trying to get back to glory by playing in the World Series once again. They were there for the first time in 2008 and have yet to return.

The Red Sox are chasing after their third championship since 2004 and they have a pretty great chance as their pitching is deep and their offense is great. You have to love the beards and their offense has been griddy and coarse throughout the season in the playoffs.

Tune into TBS at 8:30 p.m. ET to watch Game 4 as the Rays and Red Sox play another game. If you can't watch the game on TV because you do not have this channel, return to Sports World Report where we will provide all the ways available to keep pace with the game online.
