Oakland Raiders Rumors: Terrelle Pryor Makes Denarius Moore No. 1 Receiver, Fantasy Football Value Increases as WR to Excel Against Kansas City Chiefs

While Terrelle Pryor has spent most of the season improving week after week, he is also improving the play of his teammates around him. The Oakland Raiders have an offense with a wide-range of experience and Pryor is letting everyone benefit off his stronger mechanics.  While the Raiders run game struggles with consistency, the wide receivers are getting better by the week.

With Pryor as the starting quarterback, Denarius Moore is looking more and more like the team's No. 1 wide receiver. Oakland drafted Moore with the hope that he could turn out to be a big playmaker and as Week 6 approaches, Moore is clearly that player.

"I'm feeling confidence from within myself and from the team," Moore said, via CSNBayArea.com. "Terrelle and I are really starting to click. It started in practice, and now we're transferring it to the games."

Moore is right, he and Pryor appear to be on the same page. In the past three games, the wide receiver has put up big numbers with 274 yards off 15 catches for two scores. The Raiders have been desperate for a go-to receiver and Moore is officially their guy. After establishing Pryor as the future quarterback for the team, Moore helps create that nice tandem the top teams in the league have.

Head coach Dennis Allen is praising the third-year receiver for the work he has done so far. The biggest criticism of Moore was the inability to put up big numbers each week. Moore was becoming known more for his drops than his big plays. That has all changed under Pryor.

"He's been more consistent," Allen said. "That's been the thing that we've continued to talk to him about, and there's still a lot for him to continue to get better at. The big thing is having the confidence to play, and when the opportunities come your way to make sure you make the most of that opportunity. He's done a better job of that in the last three weeks, and hopefully he'll continue to grow."

Moore is coming off a big week against the San Diego Chargers. He had 84 yards and a touchdown as the Raiders got the win. While Pryor does spread the ball around to Rod Streater and Mychal Rivera, Moore continues to get team-high targets. The more those numbers continue to increase, the more of a must-start receiver Moore becomes.
