Fantasy Football Waiver Pickups Week 6: Brandon Jacobs, Alshon Jeffery, Rueben Randle, Da'Rel Scott, Matt Forte Best Adds From Giants vs. Bears Game

The New York Giants are absolutely terrible at 0-6 and there's no way around it, but there are some positives that came out of their loss to the Chicago Bears, as a number of players in that game are good fantasy options, including Brandon Jacobs, Alshon Jeffery, Rueben Randle, Da'Rel Scott, Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall.

Obviously players like Marshall, Forte and probably Jeffery at this point are NOT on the waiver wire, but in leagues with less teams than the usual 10, they might be floating out there and on top of that, they could be had in trades. Either way, these players are some of the best options in fantasy for the Bears and after the game on Thursday, some Giants players stepped up as well despite the loss, including Brandon Jacobs, Rueben Randle and Da'Rel Scott.

The team was killed again by Eli Manning and his interceptions, but the Giants finally were able to run the ball with Brandon Jacobs and since David Wilson is out with an injury, expect him to continue getting the bulk of the carries. Jacobs rushed for 106 yards on 22 carries with two touchdowns and now he has increased his carries, yards and touchdowns in each of the last three weeks and he could be a solid fantasy option going forward if Wilson stays out for multiple weeks.

Rueben Randle has been a solid sleeper this season and eh had a solid game against the Bears, but he got very lucky at one point in the game, as he made a catch and slipped before smashing the ball in frustration and it almost turned out to be a fumble. The Giants have been careless with the ball all season, which is why fans should stop caring about them, because if they don't care, why should they, but Randle still could be a solid fantasy option.

Last week he had six catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns and now he has added another touchdown against the Bears to go along with three catches for 75 yards. When Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz are doubled up, Randle has the size and the speed to make plays happen and while six of Eli Manning's picks have come on targets to Randle he should continue to get looks in the offense. The team is terrible, but someone has to catch the ball.

Alshon Jeffery has been fantastic for the Bears this season and while he was held to just one catch for 27 yards on Thursday night, that was more about the way the game played out rather than him. The previous two weeks he had 14 targets and 15 catches while going for 218 yards and 107 yards with two touchdowns and he should continue to have solid production this season.

Da'Rel Scott is a solid option if David Wilson continues to be out and Forte has been continuing his great season, rushing for 67 yards on 19 carries, while he also added six catches for 44 yards. Forte has been a big part of the offense and he is a great option to pick up or trade for, as Marc Trestman will continue to feature him in the offense.
