Four People Arrested Following Another Attack at Dodger Stadium

In a scary bit of déjà vu, a man was hospitalized Sunday after being attacked in a Dodger Stadium parking lot following the Dodgers' 6-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The attack left the unidentified man with cuts and scrapes to his face.

Four men, all in their 20s, were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The incident began after a minor traffic accident in the parking lot. The victim reportedly had a collision with one car, following which the driver confronted him. Three men from another car joined in and pinned the victim to the ground.

The attack comes a little more than a year after San Francisco Giants fan Brian Stow was attacked outside Dodger Stadium on opening day and left with brain damage. His family filed suit against the Dodger organization claiming that security cutbacks contributed to the incident.

Following last year's attack, security has increased at the stadium. Police have said officers wearing rival team jerseys will be at every home game.

On Sunday, security staff and uniformed off-duty Los Angeles police were at the stadium Sunday and responded quickly. A woman in the victim's car who is eight months pregnant was not hurt, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
