ALCS Game 3 Live Stream: Boston Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers Not Available Online as FOX Airs Game 3

Game 3 of the A.L. Championship Series will go down today, Tuesday, at 4 p.m. ET. The Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox meetin for the third time this series. However as many will likely be at work, leaving work or on their way home from work at the time the first pitch is thrown, there will be plenty searching for a live stream online. Due to FOX's blackouts, live streams will not be made available online. Here are other alternatives.

Radio: ESPN Radio online
ESPN Radio has covered most of the 2013 MLB Postseason, providing free coverage online of the League Division Series and League Championship Series. You can listen to the broadcast either on your computers, smartphones or on the radio. Sure, it is 2013, but beggars cannot be choosers. Anyways, baseball, due to its tranquil pace, can truly be captured in the words of announcers. Basketball and football are quickly paced, making it harder to capture everything announcers say. Also, listening to the game will keep you up to date with what is going on.

GameDay: MLB.com/scoreboard
MLB might not have live streams available, but they have MLB GameDay, which is just as good as watching the game, though listening might be better and more rewarding. MLB GameDay is slow, but it diagrams the action in pitch-by-pitch sequence. You get a video-game line look of the action, though there is no action. However, videos are quickly uploaded and you can keep track of any amazing play made on the field.

Comerica Park: Just go to the game
If you are in Detroit and have some money to spare, just go to the game. There is nothing like a playoff game, especially in these memorable games. Both teams have packed Games 1 & 2 with amazing moments. In Game 1, it was the Tigers shutting down the Red Sox's mighty offense. Then Game 2, it was the Red Sox with the improbable comeback with just four outs remaining.

The series is tied 1-1 and Justin Verlander takes the mound for Game 3. Who knows what the right-hander will do as he looks to have regained his edge. The Tigers need momentum on their side as the Red Sox are rolling into Game 3.

Sports World Report will provide links to scores and the radio stream. So check back with us around game time for all the coverage available online.
