Fantasy Football Sleepers and Studs Week 8: Jarrett Boykin, Kris Durham, Harry Douglas, Aaron Dobson and Justin Blackmon

The fantasy football season is getting close to the halfway mark and with owners looking for the best value from free agents and waiver players, some names to look out for heading into Week 7 includes a bunch of sleeper wide receivers, including Justin Blackmon, Keenan Allen, Kris Durham, Harry Douglas, Aaron Dobson and Jarrett Boykin as well as Riley Cooper and Rueben Randle.

Blackmon has been one of the best surprises of the football season in the NFL or in fantasy, as he has been the primary offensive threat for a terrible Jacksonville team and he now has put together two excellent games that could show potential for him being a number one option in fantasy. Blackmon was suspended to start the season, but clearly he kept his head in the playbook, as he has 19 catches for over 320 yards and one touchdown and that all came in just two games and he is averaging nearly 20 yards per catch, meaning he could continue being a big play threat.

The Jaguars don't have much on offense and after breaking out these past two games, Blackmon could get targeted a lot more by defenses, but his size should be a prime advantage for him as he continues to develop. Blackmon made 14 catches in the loss to the Denver Broncos last week on 20 targets and he already has been targeted 29 times since coming back, something that should continue if Cecil Shorts is injured. Blackmon had 190 yards in the game against the Broncos and that came after a five catch, 136 yard performance against the Rams and with the Chargers travelling east this week, he could be in for another solid game.

A great sleeper option to look out for in deeper leagues is Kris Durham with the Detroit Lions, as he could be in for more targets and more playing time as Calvin Johnson deals with a knee issue and since he had just three catches last week from 25 yards, Durham could get more looks from Matthew Stafford, as the Lions throw more than anyone in the league.

Durham came into last week's game without much production, but he made eight catches against the Browns for 83 yards and that came on 13 targets and that is a very promising sign heading into the next matchup for Detroit. The team has an offense that passes the ball quite a bit and over the past two weeks he has been targeted over 20 times and if Johnson is limited at all, that should continue and he also had his first touchdown of the season against the Packers the previous week. Durham proved to be a solid target against the Browns and Stafford now has even more weapons to choose from for the Lions on offense.

Harry Douglas has not had the production yet this season that many fantasy owners want from a sleeper, but he has the potential for much more, as Julio Jones is out for the season and Roddy White has been hampered with an ankle injury, putting Douglas on trajectory to get some targets. Last game he has just two catches on four targets against the Jets and he only has 16 catches all season, but with those two receivers down, he easily could get more targets this week from Matt Ryan.

Keenan Allen, Aaron Dobson, Riley Cooper and Jarrett Boykin as well as Rueben Randle all could have solid weeks as well and they should be players to target. Randle will be on Monday night football and his late start could be a big boost.
