Sunday Night Football Score 39-33: Indianapolis Colts Win Over Denver Broncos As Undefeated Season Over At 6-1, Indy Has Houston Texans On SNF Again This Season

The Indianapolis Colts prevailed on Sunday night football 39-33 in the return to Indy for Peyton Manning and the undefeated season for the Denver Broncos ended and now they are 6-1 and the Chiefs are the only undefeated team left with a 7-0 record and now the Colts are 5-2.

The Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts are playing in one of the best matchups of the entire 2013 NFL schedule and the game on Sunday night football in Week 7 on NBC from Lucas Oil Stadium marks the return of Peyton Manning to Indy for the first time since being released and he will be getting a nice reception and honor ceremony before the game starts.

The two teams went back and forth this week with Colts owner Jim Irsay getting attention for comments he made against Manning, but once the game starts all that will be put aside as the quarterback gets honored at the place he helped build over the years in Indy and the game is likely to be one of the most entertaining on the schedule this season. Manning will go up against his replacement Luck and it will be a matchup against former number one picks, as Manning was back in the day and Luck was the top pick in 2012 after the Colts got rid of Manning. Reggie Wayne is still catching passes in Indy and while the team lost to the Chargers last week, they come into season having made the playoffs last year after a 2-14 season and they are currently the leaders in the AFC South division.

The Colts opened the season with a win over the Raiders and after losing to the Miami Dolphins, who have now lost three in a row, Indy went on a run of winning four straight games before losing to the Chargers last week and that included three of four road games and they won over the Seattle Seahawks at home in a battle of 2012 quarterbacks with Luck and Russell Wilson. The team won against the Jaguars and the Niners and after playing the Broncos the team will have a bye and next week against the Texans marks three night games in a row and three in four weeks, as the team plays on Sunday night football and then on Thursday night against the Titans in Week 11 and that comes after a home game against the Rams.

The game against the Texans out of the bye marks another stretch of three road games in four weeks and the team also has two divisional games against the Titans coming during that stretch of the season. The Colts then play the Bengals on the road and then will have the Houston Texans at home and then the team plays on the road against the currently undefeated Chiefs and then at home against the Jaguars, who are currently winless this season. The game at Lucas Oil Stadium will be the first in a stretch of four road games in six games for the Broncos and it includes two games against the Chiefs as well as an away game against the New England Patriots which could be the final matchup of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in the regular season.

The Broncos have a tough stretch in the middle and then finishes the season with two home games against the Titans and Chargers before ending on the road against the Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders and Manning is playing some fantastic ball with 22 touchdowns and just two picks this season. The Broncos and the Colts will meet on Sunday night football on NBC at 8:30 pm and Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth will be calling the game from Lucas Oil Stadium.
