Seattle Seahawks TV Schedule: Start Time and Channel For Monday Night Football Against St. Louis Rams Kickoff ESPN at 8:30 PM

The Seattle Seahawks are coming into Monday night football against the St. Louis Rams at the perfect time, as they have two more games against the team this season and they are now much less of a tough matchup without Sam Bradford and in Week 8 the two teams will play on ESPN at 8:30 pm just as the World Series is going on for the St. Louis Cardinals down the road at Busch Stadium.

The Seahawks have been one of the most impressive teams in the NFL this season and they are currently leading the NFC West division, making this matchup another important one for the team and it also gives them a chance for their second winning streak of the season of at least three games after opening the year 4-1 before losing to the Colts and they haven't dropped a game since. The Seahawks have been very consistent on offense and while they are not getting Percy Harvin back for this game, his return is on the horizon and the team will get things going through to week 12 before a late bye and that could be perfect for the wide receiver, as the Seahawks have back to back tough games with the New Orleans Saints on Monday night football and then a road game against the San Francisco 49ers in a crucial division matchup.

The Seahawks opened the season with four straight wins over the Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers as well as the Jags and the Texans and that middle stretch was excellent, as they started their first three games by allowing just 27 points in that span while scoring over 80 themselves and they have been one of the best performing home teams in the league in 2013 and are expecting to make a run in the playoffs this season as well. The team is coming into another tough stretch after playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as they will have a rematch against the Atlanta Falcons before playing against the Minnesota Vikings. The rematch against the Falcons will be a good test for Russell Wilson and one reason why the team has been so good is the rushing attack with Marshawn Lynch and he is having another very good season and heading into the bye week he should be one of the leaders in rushing in the league.

The Monday night game is a fun moment for St. Louis despite the fact that Bradford is gone for the season, as the World Series will be going on at Busch Stadium for Game 5 and depending on how things play out, it could be a clinching game for the Cardinals and the series will put the spotlight on the city for the night as the Cards take on the Boston Red Sox and Game 3 was amazing, as it ended on a crazy obstruction call and now the Cardinals have the chance to get another World Series championship. The Rams will have a tough season no matter who is at quarterback and losing Bradford is a huge blow.

The Seahawks have a very tough late stretch with the New Orleans Saints at home on ESPN for MNF in a national game and then they will play against the 49ers on Fox for a huge game that will be in the late afternoon. The Hawks then have to travel to play the Giants on the road on the east coast and with the team winning two straight it will be crucial to get that matchup and last time the team visited the Giants in Jersey it was a disaster and then they finish with two more division games and the late NFC games will be huge especially if they lose to the 49ers at all. The Seahawks were a sexy Super Bowl pick earlier this year and they should remain that way into the playoffs.
