NBA TV Schedule: Channel, Time and Matchup for Monday Game

It is a great time to be a basketball fan. NBA TV is showing live action from the new 2013-2014 season that has been going now for seven days. Who plays today? Where can you watch the games? Check out the NBA TV schedule with all the info on tonight's games.

There will only be one game aired on NBA TV on Monday night, but it is a very, very good game with playoff matchup written all over it.

Time: 10:30 p.m. ET

Matchup: Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Channel: NBA TV- (Click here to find out if you have the NBA TV Channel)

The Rockets are not letting anybody down or surprising their opponents, they are off to a 3-0 start in 2013. With their dynamic lineup where they have the option of starting either Jeremy Lin or Patrick Beverly, the Rockets are have things going. Okay, the real reason why the Rockets are as good as they are is because of guys like James Harden, Omer Asik and newly acquired Dwight Howard.

Howard appears to finally be happy in Houston. He is not the superstar, but he has been very dependable. In his first three games, the big man has been averaging a double-double with 15 points and almost 13 rebounds per game. The Rockets are perfect through the first three games of the season and they are playing solid basketball.

The Clippers will try to do something about this perfect record. They are 2-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers in the season opener. However, they are over this loss, having won two straight games.

It will be the "Battle of the Bigs" as DeAndre Jordan and Dwight Howard will go head-to-head. Harden and Chris Paul will not guard each other, but it will be interesting to see which guard will make the bigger stride to help their team win. And of course, when we talk Clippers, Blake Griffin's dunk game immediately comes to mind. So Howard and Asik, be careful or else you might wind up in an eternal facial volt as the high flying Griffin will look to dunk on somebody.

It's the Rockets vs. Clippers on NBA TV at 10:30 p.m. ET.
