Aaron Rodgers Shoulder Injury: QB Injured On Monday Night Football As Chicago Bears Win MNF Over Green Bay Packers Score 27-20

The Chicago Bears visited the Green Bay Packers on Monday night football and it was a tight game all night and in the Bears ended up winning at Lambeau Field in the Week 9 matchup of NFC North teams and it put the Bears right back in the mix for the division and ended a skid for the team after they dropped three of their last four games.

The Bears and the Packers of course have the oldest rivalry in the NFL and with Jay Cutler out of the game, Josh McCown started for Chicago and after Aaron Rodgers was injured early on for Green Bay, both teams ended up with backup quarterbacks in the game. McCown had two touchdowns heading into the end of the fourth quarter, while Brandon Marshall was solid with seven catches and over 100 yards and one touchdown. Eddie Lacy had another great game with 150 yards rushing and he scored a touchdown in the game as well.

The Bears come into the matchup slumping a bit after winning their first three games and now they go on a tough stretch towards the end and they will have to deal with it without Jay Cutler and he is expected to be back soon, but Josh McCown will have to handle things for the time being. The team is ranked 14th and 15th in passing and rushing yards per game this season and the defense has not been quite as stout as in past years and now they are facing a Packers team that is ranked in the top 10 in both passing and rushing yards per game. The Packers have been rolling on offense and one of the main reasons has been due to the play of Aaron Rodgers and the rookies, including Eddie Lacy and Jonathan Franklin.

The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers have one of the best rivalries in all of sports and now the two teams will play on Monday night football in Week 9 at Lambeau Field and the game is got started up at 8:30 pm and is a big NFC North matchup this week. The two teams have the oldest rivalry in the NFL and it dates back to over 90 years and is one of the best classical matchups in sports.

The Packers have had players step up all season and now that Randall Cobb will be out for weeks, the team needs players like Jordy Nelson and James Jones to play strong and with Rodgers at the helm, they could be a sleeper Super Bowl contender this season even while dealing with the injuries. The Packers and Bears always play some entertaining games and this one is expected to be more of the same and comes ahead of another Monday night matchup for the Bears, as they will play the Dallas Cowboys later in the season at home during a stretch of four road games in five weeks.
