Okay, so Cano and Jay-Z are now in business together. Jay-Z is Cano's agent in a very pivotal point in the New York Yankees' second baseman. Cano is a free agent, searching for the biggest payday of his career. Jay-Z's job is to get him the money and Cano's job, well, produce and he has. So what's the big deal about Cano accepting a gift from a friend?

Do you think a $33,000 watch will sway Cano from partnering with Jay-Z? If Jay-Z told me to be a part of his press gang, a watch would not be necessary. Jay-Z embodies class, power and money within minorities and at this point, the man goes beyond just minorities. Jay-Z is a living legend who used his savvy street life to make big bucks legally.
