The fantasy football week is about to begin with Thursday night football and this week some of the players to watch for the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings includes Jordan Reed, Adrian Peterson, Robert Griffin III, Pierre Garcon and Alfred Morris.
The Redskins come in as the better team and they have more options for fantasy, including Reed, who has been one of the best sleepers this season. The tight end ranks second on the team with 38 catches for 425 yards and two scores and he could be a solid option on Thursday, as Griffin has been using the tight end position much more this season to great success and that could continue in the game against the Vikings, as they give up tons of yards through the air this season.
Griffin is a start option against a weak Vikings team and he has been solid, ranking second on the team in rushing with over 250 yards and he has passed for over 2,100 and nine scores this season. Griffin will have some nice weapons on Thursday with leading receiver Garcon, who has over 50 catches this season for nearly 700 yards and he has two scores as well. Griffin will be the focal point of the offense.
Alfred Morris is a solid start with nearly 700 yards on the ground and he had over 20 carries last week for the first time this season. Adrian Peterson is a great start option, as the Skins are giving up tons of yards and he has over 700 already and will be the main option for the Vikings on offense. The two teams are struggling on defense this season, making the matchup one that could be heavy on the offensive side and it should be a nice matchup.
