That is correct. Four of the Top 5 schools will meet in this that has Final Four written all over it. Granted, all of these schools would have to remain in their current rankings and instead of Kentucky facing the Spartans, they would face the Jayhawks, but all programs have a chance, not only to make it to the Final Four, but to win the national title.
All of these teams have future stars heading to the NBA, that is for sure. As a matter of fact, Bleacher Report went ahead and predicted where in the draft a bunch of these schools' stars will go. Some are bound to make it to the NBA by 2014, others will need a bit more developing. However, stars will hit the courts tonight with all of these four schools seeing action.
As NCAA.com announced, these schools have a lengthy list of accolades, but it would be easier to combine all of their accomplishments: 17 national championships and 52 trips to the Final Four, 7,770 wins, just to name a few of the ones pointed out on the website.
Get familiar with these names; Andrew Wiggings of Kansas, Jabari Parker of Duke, Julius Randle of Kentucky and Gary Harris of the Spartans. It is not all about the players though. Also attracting attention, the head coaches. Yes, Coach K (Mike Krzyzewskis) is still around, John Calipari of Kentuky, Bill Self of Kansas and Tom Izzo of the Spartans.
Where will you be at 7:30 p.m. ET?
