Percy Harvin Fantasy Football: Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver Best Addition For Week 13 After Bye On Schedule

The Seattle Seahawks won on Sunday and it wasn't even close against the Minnesota Vikings and that was fine by the team, as they were able to get Percy Harvin some nice reps and while he had just one catch in his return from injury, he now has the chance to go into Week 13 prepared and ready for the back stretch of the season.

Harvin returned against his former team after being activated to the roster and while he had just one catch for 17 yards, he looked very good on a kick return and now Pete Carroll should feel comfortable putting him on the field going forward for the rest of the season. The game against the Vikings was not a close one and the 58-yard kickoff return was particularly impressive and now Harvin adds an explosive element to the offense for the Seahawks. The team lost Sidney Rice to a season ending injury and now Harvin steps in to help out and along with Doug Baldwin, Russell Wilson has some solid receivers to throw too and heading into a bye in week 12 should give Harvin even more time to heal up right.

The Seahawks are coming into the bye week after winning six games in a row and now the team has lost only one game on the season against the Indianapolis Colts and they are putting themselves in great position in the division and the conference, as they now have a nice lead over the San Francisco 49ers and over the next two games they will play the Saints and Niners, giving the team the chance to get even more head to head wins against the top opponents in the NFC. The team has already defeated the Niners once and opened the season with a win over the Carolina Panthers and coming up are three very tough games, with New Orleans visiting Seattle before the team hits the road to play San Francisco and the New York Giants.

Baldwin should get more chances as well with teams having to focus on Harvin and he could be a solid addition moving forward as well after he had two catches for 63 yards and nice touchdown on Sunday.. Baldwin had a TD before halftime in the game to help extend the lead and he now is the top player in yards for the Seahawks and has developed into a very nice second option. The team has targeted him 50 times for 36 catches and 586 yards and that gives him a 16 yards per catch average and going forward he could put up some nice numbers after the bye week.

Goodwin had a breakout game on Sunday against the Jets, making six catches for 81 yards and a score and that is now his second score in three weeks. Over the past two games he has been targeted 13 times and has eight catches and going forward he could be a solid option for teams in deeper leagues to pick up.
