The Auburn Tigers pulled off one of the biggest wins of the season on Saturday, as they came back to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs with an amazing Hail Mary touchdown pass from Nick Marshall that fell right into the hands of Ricardo Louis for the winning score.
The victory kept the season alive for Auburn as they have the Iron Bowl coming up against the Alabama Crimson Tide and that game is now huge. The pass was thrown by Marshall not exactly like a Hail Mary, but it ended up like one, as two Georgia defenders bumped into each other and knocked the ball up and right into the hands of Louis. The team was 38-37 Georgia at the time and there were less than 30 seconds left at Jordan-Hare Stadium when he made the reception.
Georgia was down by 20 and had previously come back for the lead and now the Tigers are 10-1 on the season and the 73-yard catch will likely go down as one of the best of the season after coming on fourth and 18.
