The Miami Dolphins situation involving lineman Richie Incognito is starting to near decision time at least in one aspect of things, as the CBA states he can only be suspended for four games for conduct detrimental and over the weekend, fellow lineman Mike Pouncey, who was out with food poisoning, visited Incognito and watched Sunday's game with him.
According to ESPN.com, Pouncey said that he spent Sunday with Incognito and watched the Dolphins win over the Chargers and he said that he wishes to return to the team. The situation involving Jonathan Martin is being reviewed by the NFL and Pouncey said that Incognito wants to get back to playing "football" and he also filed a grievance against the team to get his pay back or to be released.
Pouncey said the two watched the game at his house and he said that the "truth" will come out and that it's good that the NFL is looking into the situation.
"Me and him watched the game together at my house," Pouncey explained after Wednesday's practice. "He's doing really good. He's in good spirits. He wants to get back on this football team and wants to get back and play football. Richie Incognito, the football player, so that's the only thing he knows. He's missing it to death. He'll be alright."
