Michael Floyd Fantasy Football Week 12: Miles Austin, Brandon LaFell and Jarrett Boykin Best WR Picks Sunday

The fantasy football schedule in Week 12 is moving into the weekend and on Sunday there are a number of wide receiver options to start and names like Michael Floyd, Miles Austin, Brandon LaFell and Jarrett Boykin should be solid for owners.

Michael Floyd had a career day on Sunday in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars after putting up 139 yards on six catches and while he likely won't put up numbers like that again, owners should expect a boost in production for a player that has been very solid all season. Floyd often times is the secondary option behind star Larry Fitzgerald and he is also a little banged up stretching back to last week, but ESPN.com reports that he is expected to play the game barring any setbacks. Floyd has shown explosiveness over the past few weeks, scoring two touchdowns in the past three games and three in the past five and he was very impressive on Sunday with a 91-yard score against the Jags.

The Cardinals have a nice matchup on Sunday with the Colts, as they have given up over 10 touchdowns to wide receivers over the past six games and that could mean another score for Floyd coming this week. The Cards have won three three straight games since losing to the Seahawks and the 49ers and they are firmly in the playoff chase for one of the wild card spots and Floyd is one reason why they are in contention. Last week he has six catches with over 190 yards and his 11 targets were very impressive and his most since having nine against the Seahawks in the Thursday night game. This season Floyd has 42 catches for 657 yards and three touchdowns and all those scores have come in the past five weeks and he is averaging an impressive 15 yards per catch.

Miles Austin is a solid start option and he is expected to return for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and that is a big move for Tony Romo, as he has been out for weeks and has just 15 catches on the season. His last solid game came in Week 1 when he had 10 of those catches on 12 targets and his return gives Romo another solid target with Dez Bryant and Jason Witten and the team is coming off of a bye week and should be well rested for the huge matchup in New York. Jarrett Boykin is another solid starter after coming in for the injured Randall Cobb and he should be a good second or third option in deeper leagues.

Brandon LaFell came through big last week against the Patriots, making seven catches for 59 yards and a touchdown and he could be in line for more as Cam Newton has been on a nice stretch and the team is playing against the Dolphins. LaFell has been very solid the past three weeks and he has had at least eight targets in three of the past four games and is coming in with nearly 500 yards and 40 receptions.
