The New York Giants have rebounded nicely from a terrible start and with the Washington Redskins totally falling apart, they won't likely finish last in the NFC East and now the team heads west for a matchup with the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium and it matches up Eli Manning and Philip Rivers on Sunday in Week 14 for the FOX game at 4:25 pm and streaming online.

Manning and Rivers were traded for each other years ago and while Manning isn't having his best season and Rivers is, this game is needed for both teams and the Giants come into the matchup after defeating the Washington Redskins on Sunday night football. The seahawks are waiting next for the Giants at home after playing the Chargers and Manning comes in after passing for 235 yards and players like Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks will be looking to get into the end zone and the way the weather has been shaping up, they are happy to be on the road on the west coast and after opening with six straight losses, the team now has the chance to get another win for their sixth in seven games and that could be big going down the final stretch of the season.

The Giants have won three of four games coming out of their bye week and the team now has a game against the Chargers before playing at home against the seattle Seahawks and then after that the team has to hit the road against the Detroit Lions and then they are home against the Washington Redskins. The Giants have been terrible at times this season and Manning has not been great and while Rivers has rebounded, Giants fans would never go back on that trade after the super Bowl championships. Manning comes into the game looking to stay on track and with the Giants playing well during this stretch the team now has a chance to stay on the fringes of the playoff race and in the AFC the field is weak and the Chargers could do the same with a win.
