NCAA Bowl Schedule: BCS Games Predictions With Matchups For College Football Teams In 2013-14

The NCAA college football regular season is done and now it's time for the bowl schedule and BCS predictions for top matchups to start rolling out for the best teams in 2013-2014 and the national championship with Florida State and Auburn should be great and so should the other top bowl matchups in the BCS and around college football's top conferences.

The bowl week schedule starts off on ESPN with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on December 21 and that will have Washington State playing against Colorado State and the schedule will pick up and move quickly after that, all of it leading up to the national championship game in January. Florida State and Alabama are matching up and while the Seminoles have been one of the top teams in the nation all season, the Tigers should not be an easy test and that game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the VIZIO BCS National Championship will be on January 6 at 8:30 pm on ESPN. The Tigers should be a tough play for FSU and they could win it, but it will likely be Jameis Winston getting the crystal ball.

The Sugar Bowl is one of the best matchups in the BCS and has Alabama playing against Oklahoma in what should be a nice home game for the Crimson Tide. The team was disappointed to lose the Iron Bowl and a chance for the national championship, but Nick Saban's team will be the favorites for the Sugar Bowl game and they face a Sooners team that has been solid since losing earlier in the season and they come into the game with some momentum after knocking off Oklahoma State as they chased the Big 12 title. Alabama is predicted to win the game, which will be at the New Orleans Louisiana Superdome on January 2 starting up at 8:30 pm on ESPN and gives AJ McCarron another chance at a BCS win and it should be one of the best matchups of the bowl season.

The Orange Bowl is one of the more intriguing matchups, as Ohio State will be playing against Clemson after losing the Big Ten title game and that will be a tough thing for the Buckeyes to get over. The Tigers have been bad a few times this season and the bowl game is a chance to erase that and the matchup will be on ESPN yet again and the game will be on January 3. The Buckeyes will be favorites in that matchup and the game could be one of the highest scoring in the BCS schedule.

The Fiesta Bowl is not as sexy of a matchup with Baylor and UCF, but the way the Knights played this season could make it fun and the Bears have the best offense in the nation. The team brings in quarterback Bryce Petty and he should be able to put up some points on the Knights. The Rose Bowl is a classic matchup of tough defenses, as Michigan State comes out of the Big Ten and Stanford comes from the Pac-12 and the game will be in Pasadena on New Year's Day and could be a tough grind it out game for both sides.
