Jeremy Lin Rumors: Rockets PG Ready For Injury Return Against Portland Trail Blazers

The Houston Rockets are hoping that Jeremy Lin can return to the lineup on Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers after the point guard has missed two weeks with a right knee injury.

According to ESPN.com, Lin and the Rockets hope he is clear to come back by Thursday, as it is a big conference game with the Blazers and Kevin McHale remarked that Omer Asik could get back in as well. Lin has been out for two weeks after banging his knee against the Hawks and he also could play on Friday against the Golden State Warriors after being out since November. Lin has averaged 15.3 points and nearly five points this season and he would be a big addition back into the lineup.

"I'm happy with the progress," Lin said. "I haven't played yet, had any contact. But I've been working out. I haven't played on the court, but I've run on the court. That's different from the treadmill."
