EPL Table Standings: English Premier League Schedule Has Liverpool Leading Standings Over Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea

The English Premier League holiday schedule picks up on Thursday with a number of exciting games on Boxing Day and Liverpool comes into the day leading the EPL table standings over Arsenal and Manchester City in the top three spots and the Reds are up above Chelsea and Everton in the fourth and fifth positions as the 2014 calendar nears.

Liverpool has been playing some very solid football as of late, with Luis Suarez continuing to score in bunches and the club has a lead on the table due to having the most goals scored heading into the Boxing Day schedule. Liverpool pulled ahead with their win over the weekend that saw two more goals from Suarez and now the team is leading Arsenal and Manchester City, while Chelsea is next on the table. Everton is fifth behind the Blues with Newcastle and Tottenham next and then in eighth place is Manchester United ahead of Southampton and Stoke City. Swansea City is next on the table and they are ahead of Hull City and Aston Villa in the standings.

The schedule starts off with Hull City hosting Manchester United in the early match at The Kingston Communications Stadium before the 10 am ET matches and those start off with Aston Villa taking on Crystal Palace at Villa Park as well as Cardiff City and Southampton matching up at Cardiff City Stadium. Chelsea and Swansea City are next up at Stamford Bridge and that could be a very entertaining matchup, while Everton and Sunderland are playing at Goodison Park. The Boxing Day schedule has everyone in action with Newcastle United playing a St James' Park, Norwich City and Fulham playing at Carrow Road, Tottenham and West Bromwich playing at White Hart Lane in another match for Tim Sherwood, while West Ham United and Arsenal are playing at Upton Park in the final 10 am ET match.

Manchester City and Liverpool are playing in the top match on Boxing Day and it is the late game on NBC with the match starting up at 12:30 pm ET and that will be at Etihad Stadium. Liverpool comes in after a win against Cardiff City that saw two goals from Luis Suarez and the game before that saw a dominating 5-0 victory against Tottenham at White Hart Lane and the team has been on a nice streak lately, winning over West Ham United and Norwich City after losing to Hull City early in the month.
