Chicago Bulls Trade Rumors: Mike Dunleavy Houston Rockets Move For Omer Asik or Jeremy Lin Coming? Kirk Hinrich or Carlos Boozer Deals Possible

The Chicago Bulls are in a tough spot after trading away star Luol Deng and now speculation is running rampant that the team could start selling off players and the latest has the Houston Rockets interested in trading for Mike Dunleavy and it's possible that the team could also deal Kirk Hinrich or Carlos Boozer, while the Rockets may end up moving Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin.

The reports come from USA Today and says that the Bulls and Rockets may end up making a deal, as Houston is looking at Dunleavy as a trade target and while they have not made any offers, one could be coming soon. The Rockets have depth on the bench and at Dunleavy's position, but he could bring great value to the team as he is one of the best three point shooters in the league. The Rockets have been playing well out west after signing Dwight Howard and James Harden has been playing very well alongside the big man, but with Omer Asik in the dog/trade house and the team thin at some positions, deals could be coming to bulk up depth before the playoffs.

Dunleavy looks to be the top option for the Rockets, while the Bulls could look to deal names like Kirk Hinrich or Carlos Boozer and that comes after the Deng deal to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls are dealing with another possible season ending injury for Derrick Rose and heading into the trading deadline, the star has said that he hopes the team will not be selling off assets, but that appears to be what they are doing now.

The Bulls saved $20.6 million in the luxury tax and moving more players could help money-wise as they head into next summer and with Dunleavy making just $3 million over the next two seasons in each year, his deal is friendly for both sides and that makes him an intriguing target. Dunleavy comes into this week averaging over 10 points and he is shooting nearly 40 percent from the three point line and is playing just under 30 minutes per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. The deadline is coming next month and that makes the Rockets and Bulls moves interesting to watch, as many expect Houston to deal Omer Asik at some point after a deal to the Boston Celtics fell through earlier in the season.

Rockets GM Daryl Morey is not afraid to make a big move and that could come with Asik and Dunleavy and it's possible that Jeremy Lin could get moved if the right deal came along. Hinrich is another player to watch, as he has an expiring deal at $4 million and should be an attractive target for teams as well. The Rockets are coming into the week with 23 wins on the season and while the Bulls are struggling, they play in the terrible east and are still not totally out of it at three games under .500 and more deals could be coming soon.
