The English Premier League schedule picks up again on Saturday with a number of top teams in action and Arsenal comes into the day first on the table and the Gunners are playing against Fulham at Emirates Stadium, while Sunderland and Southampton will start the day with the early match before Liverpool and Aston Villa caps things off and on Sunday the big match has Chelsea taking on Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal comes into the weekend first in the Barclays standings and the Gunners had to wait until Monday to jump back to the top after the Saturday and weekend schedule and now they will play against Fulham. Manchester City and Chelsea are in second and third on the table heading into the weekend and in fourth place is Liverpool, while Everton is in fifth place ahead of the Tottenham Spurs and also over Manchester United. Newcastle is in eighth place on the league table ahead of Southampton, Hull City and Aston Villa, while Swansea City, West Brom, Norwich City and Fulham are next in the standings.
The early match on Saturday has Sunderland taking on Southampton at the Stadium of Light and after that Arsenal will be playing Fulham at the Emirates starting up the 10 am ET matches and others include Crystal Palace taking on Stoke City at Selhurst Park, while Manchester City will be hosting Cardiff City at Etihad Stadium. Norwich City and Hull City are playing at Carrow Road and they are dealing with some name issues with their owner and after that West Ham United and Newcastle United will be playing at Upton Park.
The last match of the day has Liverpool hosting Aston Villa at the Anfield and then on Sunday Swansea City will be playing against Tottenham at Liberty Stadium in the early match. Chelsea is hosting Manchester United at Stamford Bridge and that is the late match and then on Monday West Brom and Everton will be playing at the Hawthorns. Chelsea is coming in off of a win with goals from Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres against Hull City last weekend, while Sunderland got three goals from Adam Johnson in their win over Fulham and numerous other matches were 2-0, including West Ham over Cardiff City and Everton winning over Norwich City. Southampton won 1-0 against West Brom and then Tottenham also won 2-0 against Crystal Palace, while Manchester United won 2-0 against Swansea City. The Sunday matches saw Manchester City win over Newcastle, while Liverpool got two goals from Luis Suarez against Stoke City in their win.
