NHL Schedule: TV Start Time and NBC Channel For New York Rangers and Washington Capitals Game Sunday

The New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals are playing a game on Sunday that is an anticipated showdown ahead of the Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia break and the game will start at 7:30 pm and is on NBC live on Sunday and is a national game after the Boston Bruins play against the Chicago Blackhawks in a rematch.

The Rangers come in second in the Metro division and they have been playing better than earlier in the season and they have 26 wins now and 55 points and Brad Richards is leading the team in scoring and has been playing very strong of late. The Bruins are leading the Atlantic and the Penguins are tops in the Metro division and the Rangers are tied with the Flyers and they are just ahead of the Washington Capitals by three points and a number of the teams have been playing better in the east.

The Rangers come into the game after a win on the road against the Ottawa Senators and they play against the New York Islanders on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden and this comes after the NBC game on Sunday night against the Caps. The team comes in ranked ninth in penalty kill percentage and much better than last year at seventh in power play percentage and if their 23rd ranked scoring gets better, the team should be in good playoffs position.

The game on Sunday is from Madison Square Garden between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals and starts up at 7:30 pm ET on NBC.
