Super Bowl 2014 Schedule: TV Start Time and Channel For Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos Game MetLife Stadium SB XLVIII 48

The Super Bowl in 2014 is on FOX for the TV schedule and the game starts up at 6:25 pm ET from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for the SB XLVIII 48 championship game and it is being played on February 2, 2014 with teams representing the AFC and the NFC and it has the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Denver Broncos as the number one seeds in each conference.

The game hits a cold weather city for an outdoor game for the first time in many years and it comes after the Super Bowl was held at the Superdome last season in New Orleans and of course that game saw the lights go out. This time around there is a good chance the weather will be brutal, either it will rain, snow, or be very cold, but of course there is a chance the NFL will luck out with an above average day. Anyway you look at it the league is taking a gamble, but at the end of the day both teams will have to deal with the conditions for the game and some of the most memorable playoff matchups have taken place in the cold, including the Ice Bowl, the Patriots Tuck Rule game, the Giants and Packers and many more.

The Super Bowl teams will have the week after the championship games off and the Pro Bowl will be played during that break and then before the game the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees will be announced. The game is in February and reports have around 400,000 people expected to descend on the New York and New Jersey area during the two week event. The game is being played outdoors on artificial turf for the first time in nearly 40 years and the Halftime show will have Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing after Beyonce did last year.

This year a 30-second commercial costs $4 million and there are a number of movies that will premiere trailers and the broadcast team has the play by play coming from Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as the analyst, while Pam Oliver and Erin Andrews will be reporting from the sidelines and that is the A-team for FOX and they did a bang up job last time around and this year the matchup should be just as good. Recent Super Bowl winners in the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints lost in the playoffs and both entered the postseason looking to get another championship and now they are home until next season. The Super Bowl date is on Feb. 2, 2014 and is live from MetLife Stadium.
