Tiger Woods Live Stream: Watch Online PGA Tour Farmers Insurance Open Streaming From Torrey Pines

Tiger Woods is getting his PGA Tour season started up at the Farmers Insurance Open tournament and the event is from Torrey Pines in San Diego, California and he is teeing off just before 2 pm and comes as the tournament got started up at 12 pm Noon ET and this will be the first chance for the number one player in the world to get into action.

Woods comes in having played very well at Torrey Pines in his career, winning eight tournaments there and now he has the chance to set a record by winning nine times at the same course. Woods won five times last season and got back his number one overall ranking and he ended up winning at Torrey Pines last year as well with the Farmers Insurance Open and that has become one of his strongest tournaments. The tournament will run from Thursday to Sunday and first round coverage will be on the Golf Channel before continuing on Friday with Round two.

The weekend schedule has coverage both on the Golf Channel and on CBS and the tournament will also be streaming from the PGA and the NBC Sports Live Extra website. Jimmy Walker, Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth will be playing together to start and Woods has said to reporters that he feels good heading into the season and while he may be a bit rusty since this is his first real action of the year, it comes at a place that he knows very well and where he has been very successful in the past.

The Farmers is actually the fourth event on the calendar, but it might as well be the first since more major players will be debuting this time around on Tour and it comes at a place where Woods has won multiple times, including his last major championship in 2008. Torrey Pines has been good to Woods and it will be the first event for CBS this season and if Woods gets off to a nice start this year, it will only ramp up expectations that he will finally get another major and he also could get very close to the record for wins on Tour by Sam Snead, although that isn't the record that gets talked about the most.

Phil Mickelson comes into the tournament after playing well in Abu Dhabi and he had a nice year in 2013 as well with multiple victories and he looks like a player that will be a factor in California as well. Woods will not have to worry about weather on Thursday and the forecast has sun coming in over the weekend as well. The coverage for the tournament is on Golf Channel to start and the PGA website and the Live Extra also has coverage as Woods tees off on Thursday for the first round.
