Super Bowl 2014 TV Schedule: Start Time and FOX Channel For SB XLVIII At MetLife Stadium Seahawks and Broncos

The Super Bowl in 2014 will be on TV on the schedule on FOX and the start time for coverage is at 6 pm and the weather forecast is expected to be cold for SB XLVIII at MetLife Stadium for the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos and that could be a factor for whoever wins the game and reports so far have snow possible on schedule for the matchup.

The game starts up on Sunday, February 2 and comes a week after the Pro Bowl and two weeks after the playoffs has their championship games with the Denver Broncos winning over the New England Patriots in the AFC and the Seattle Seahawks winning over the San Francisco 49ers and now Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson will face off in the game. The two teams each played and won against the Giants at the Stadium already this season, with Peyton doing it in Week 2 and the Seahawks doing it late in the season and now the two best teams in the NFL will face off.

The Seahawks have the top ranked defense in the league and the Broncos have the top ranked offense and many experts believe that these are the top two teams in the league. The beginning of the season saw a number of predictions that had this exact game and it gives Manning the chance to be the first quarterback ever to win two Super Bowls for two different teams as a starting quarterback. Manning is back for the first time in a few years, while the Seahawks are back after making it against the Steelers.

Denver hasn't been to the game in over a decade and the Seahawks in nearly that long and Denver comes in with four players that have played in the Super Bowl, while the Seahawks have zero. Part of that is due to the fact that the Hawks have built their team through the draft and home grown players and also because many are young. Manning is the elder statesman of the two teams and Wilson comes in as just the sixth quarterback to make it to the Super Bowl in his second season and he joins a name in Tom Brady for doing that.

The matchup will be fierce and that won't even include the weather, which is expected to be very cold and while snow could be in the forecast, the NFL is hoping that it will be clear the night of the game. The matchup is on February 2, 2014 and will be live from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey and the Super Bowl event calendar for the next two weeks has things going on in NYC as well as New Jersey and the game should be one of the most memorable in recent memory.
