Super Bowl 2014 Schedule: TV Start Time and Kickoff For Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos Game Sunday

The Super Bowl in 2014 schedule hits the TV for the start of the game at around 6:25 pm ET and the kickoff will be on FOX for the channel carrying the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos game on Sunday for the NFL championship at MetLife Stadium and the game marks the first modern SB in cold weather as the XLVIII game gets underway on February 2.

The game marks a number of firsts for the event, including having two states serve as hosts for the matchup and this will also likely set the record for the coldest Super Bowl, which came years ago in Tulane at 39 degrees and the weather on Sunday is expected to be around 30 degrees at various points of the game. There is snow in the forecast but nothing like the blizzard that came to the NYC area last week and that sure makes the NFL happy, as they don't mind the cold weather, but a blizzard could ruin their big event.

The Broncos and the Seahawks come into the game as the best teams in the AFC and NFC this season and they are arguably the best teams in the league, with Denver and Seattle both going 13-3 during the regular season schedule. Seattle comes in with the top ranked defense in the league and the Broncos have the top ranked offense and now those two units will go head to head on Sunday for the championship.

According to ESPN.com, this is the first time in quite a while and just the second time in 20 seasons that the number one seeds have made it through to the championship and it also features former rivals, as the Seahawks were once part of the AFC West until 2001. The game is being played at MetLife Stadium home of the New York Giants and NY Jets and while the Jets haven't had any Super Bowl fun for years, the Giants know exactly what this week can do and they get the chance to help as part of the host committee. The game is in East Rutherford, New Jersey and the teams are staying in Jersey City and so far things have been going off with great success for the league.

Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson come in as the opposing quarterbacks and Manning now has the chance to set another milestone - like he needs that - as he could become the first quarterback ever to win Super Bowls with two different teams starting at QB and only one other player has attempted that in Kurt Warner when he did it for the St. Louis Rams and the Arizona Cardinals, winning with the former team and losing to the Steelers with the latter.

Players like Richard Sherman and Manning have taken center stage and Media Day on Tuesday saw Manning and Sherman get asked tons of questions, including about the QB's legacy and the CB's antics after the game against the 49ers last week. Manning and Sherman are the stars of this Super Bowl and now they get the chance to play.

The game starts up at 6:25 PM ET on FOX from MetLife Stadium and has the Denver Broncos taking on the Seattle Seahawks for the NFL championship.
