Tottenham and Manchester City are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Wednesday and it comes live from White Hart Lane as the Spurs host and the matchup is the best on the EPL schedule this week and comes after the busy day on Tuesday that saw Manchester United and Liverpool win and the table leaders in Arsenal draw and now Man City is in position to take advantage and it starts at 2:45 pm ET/7:45 pm local time.
The Spurs are hosting the match and Manchester City comes in playing very well and now they have the chance to take the table lead in the English Premier League standings over the Gunners. The club hasn't lost in their last 11 matches and is on a seven match winning streak and now they have to travel to White Hart Lane to try and get the positive result. Man City comes in after a win over Watford in the FA Cup and before that they won in the Capital One Cup semifinals over West Ham United and now they have the chance to keep their streak going at Tottenham and they will be motivated to win as well after Liverpool got the better of Everton on Tuesday.
Manchester City has some tough matches coming up, with Chelsea next on the schedule after Tottenham, but that matchup will be at Etihad Stadium and four of the next are at home and that will be a nice benefit as they keep this strong play going. The club is just two points back from the Gunners on the table and they can jump ahead on Wednesday and Chelsea has the chance to gain some ground as well and that will lead into the weekend schedule after the EPL took off last week for the FA Cup matches to continue. Liverpool remains fourth on the league table after winning over Everton and Tottenham will be looking to keep pace with the Reds after Luis Suarez powered them on Tuesday.

The Barclays schedule on Tuesday had a number of good matches, with Manchester United winning over Cardiff City and they got a boost right away from Robin Van Persie after he scored ins his return to the lineup and then Ashley Young put in an insurance goal in the second half and the club got the win at Old Trafford and it was an important one after the recent disappointments in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup. Manchester United just pulled off a move for Juan Mata from Chelsea and that was a historic deal and now they have to keep winning to try and move up the EPL table. Man U has the Champions League coming up soon and getting wins here will give the team confidence.
Arsenal pulled a draw with Southampton and that opens things up for Manchester City, while Swansea City won 2-0 over Fulham and that came before the big match of the day with Liverpool and Everton. The Reds pulled off a big win with a 4-0 score and they got goals from Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and Suarez, who is currently leading the EPL in scoring by a wide margin, scoring 23 times already this season. Manchester City now has the chance to extend their winning streak and the Spurs will be looking hard for the win at White Hart Lane.
