Brooklyn Nets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Live Stream: Watch Online NBA Friday Games Streaming 8:00 PM ET ESPN

Kevin Durant is on fire. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard cannot be stopped as he comes off yet another 30-point plus game, extending his streak to 12-straight games of 30 points or more. Now, he must face the Brooklyn Nets who put up the best record in the month of January, finally putting their season on a better path.

Durant is helping carry the Thunder to a nine-game win streak, the longest current streak in the league. The only time the Thunder have looked better was in 2008 when they put together 12-straight wins. Durant is now closing in on Tracy McGrady's streak of 14-straight games of 30 points or more per game. Both streaks were extended against the New York Knicks and could be again against the Brooklyn Nets.

Since Christmas Day, Durant has only failed to score less than 30 points twice. One of those games was against the Brooklyn Nets at the beginning of January. The Nets managed to hold Durant to a mild 24 points as Joe Johnson put up the game-winning buzzer beater.

During their win streak, the Thunder have topped 100 points in each game. Their offense is averaging 109.1 points per game while shooting 51.3 percent overall. Durant is not the only one with the hot hand. Serge Ibaka is shooting 59.3 percent overall. Derek fisher is putting up big numbers and Jeremy Lamb is discovering his role with the team, having totaled 32 points in the past two games.

The win over the Thunder began a 10-2 month for the Brooklyn Nets. The team just saw their five-game win streak snapped against the Toronto Raptors after Paul Pierce failed to make the 3-point game-winning shot as time expired. Deron Williams has been coming off the bench for most of the month and has no plan on changing that for the time being. The point guard notes that winning is more important that starts.

All the focus will fall on Durant. The Thunder have had strong success against Eastern Conference teams on the road, sitting at 8-0 on the season.
