NFL Combine 2014 Schedule: TV Start Time, Date and Live Stream Workouts For Draft Prospects February 19-25

The NFL Combine 2014 is the first big date of the offseason before free agency and the schedule this year begins February 19 and runs to the 25 and most of it will be on TV with a live stream from the NFL.com website and will show workouts and evaluations of all the top draft prospects in the class leading up to the May event from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The prospects come in with plenty of hype and attention and players like Johnny Manziel, Michael Sam, Blake Bortles and Jadeveon Clowney will get close looks from scouts and talent evaluators from teams. The event will be live streaming from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy once again and mock drafts will get put out the second players perform and this is the best way for many to learn about some of these prospects and the different between round one and round two, day one and day two cane be made here.

The actual fun part of the combine starts later and February 19 marks the arrival of some players and the start of interviews and other pre workout activates. Players go through comprehensive examinations of their medical issues as well as interviews with teams and the media and then things are broken down into workout schedules by position. The first day on February 22 has Tight ends, offensive linemen and specialists doing their positional workouts, while the next day has the skills players in quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers, while the next day has defensive lineman and linebackers before the final day finishes with defensive backs.

The workouts vary by position, but the main ones for players include the 40-yard dash and that is very important, as well as the vertical and brad jumps, three cone drills, shuttle run and bench press along with other positional workouts. In past years players have pushed their stock up with great forty times and Chris Johnson did that years ago and that could happen again this year. Johnson set a combine record with his time, while others could end up setting the bench press and other records.

One QB always emerges with a nice combine workout and this season it could be one of the lesser heralded players like David Fales or Derek Carr. The Womderlic test will be given, as will other speed measurements and tests, including injury evaluations and physical testing. The NFL draft has names that are hot already in Manziel, Bridgewater and Clowney and now many players who people do not know as well get the chance to shine.
