NY Knicks Rumors: Earl Clark Signs After Raymond Felton Gun Arrest, Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih New York Buyouts

The NY Knicks are in a bit of a tailspin right now after the Raymond Felton gun arrest and loss to the Mavericks and after that terrible day the team has signed Early Clark as a free agent and this comes after New York bought out Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih.

According to ESPN.com, the Knicks and Clark have agreed to a deal after he was waived following a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Philadelphia 76ers in the Spencer Hawes deal. The report says that the Knicks brought in Clark after waiving Metta World Peace and Udrih, who had their contract bought out following the trade deadline. The Knicks also worked out Dahntay Jones and they could sign him down the line as well he previously was with the Chicago Bulls in training camp before the season.

The Knicks are coming off of a buzzer beating loss to the Dallas Mavericks and after the game Felton was arrested for gun charges and now the team has brought in Clark to help upgrade on defense. Jones could be another addition to the team and Clark comes in averaging 5.2 points this season in 45 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers and he also has been solid from three point range, shooting nearly 35 percent from long range.

The Knicks have been just terrible this season and they are in danger of missing the playoffs in the equally terrible eastern conference and after winning 54 games and the division last season, they have squandered any progress they made. Carmelo Anthony could potentially leave as a free agent if he opts out this summer and that obviously would be a nightmare for the Knicks. For now, their remedy is Earl Clark.
