Capital One Cup Final Schedule: TV Start Time For Manchester City and Sunderland Match Wembley Stadium Sunday

The Capital One Cup final is on the schedule and the TV start time is 9 am ET and it has Manchester City and Sunderland going at it for the first trophy of the year and comes from Wembley Stadium live on Sunday.

Manchester City comes into the match after a disappointing draw last week and that put them in third place on the league table after Chelsea won and now they have the chance to bounce back at home after losing to the Blues in the game before that. The loss against Chelsea at the Etihad was the first in quite a while for Manchester City and they had been unbeaten at home for over a month and now they will be looking to get back on track and they have the time to do it, as the club has five of the next six matches at home, with the other being a neutral site at Wembley Stadium for the Capital One Cup finals against Sunderland.

This week will be a good chance for Man City to get a look at Sunderland and that final is not a walk in the park and they will have that before starting another tough road with the Champions League coming up in Spain. After playing Sunderland on Wednesday, Manchester City has a match against Chelsea over the weekend and that will be in the FA Cup and gives them a chance for revenge after the loss a week ago. Manchester City has a tough Champions League matchup with Barcelona, but they will have the chance to strike first with a home leg before a return trip to Estadio Camp Nou and in between that the club has the final against Sunderland and a match against Aston Villa in the Premier League when things pick up next week.

The club was looking good on their long streak after winning 5-1 against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, but they have suffered a power outage over the past two matches, as they have scored zero goals after losing to Chelsea and pulling a scoreless draw with Norwich last weekend. Chelsea comes into the day at first on the league table and Arsenal can jump over them with a win against Manchester United, while Man City can pull even with a victory from their third place position. Liverpool is next on the table after their match against Man U last weekend and they are fourth ahead of Tottenham, while the Spurs are one place and two points ahead of Everton.

Manchester United is in seventh place on the league table ahead of Southampton, while Newcastle United and West Ham are next ahead of Aston Villa and Swansea City. On Tuesday Aston Villa and Cardiff played to a scoreless tie, while Southampton won 1-0 over Hull City and West Ham won 2-0 against Norwich City at Upton Park, while Chelsea finished in a draw with west Brom at 1-1.

Manchester City and Sunderland are playing live on the Barclays Premier League schedule on Wednesday at 2:45 pm ET at the Etihad Stadium and it will be streaming live from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website and comes after Chelsea had a draw on Tuesday, while Arsenal and Liverpool are in action on the day.
