Kentucky and Alabama are playing on Tuesday night in an SEC college basketball matchup from Rupp Arena and the game starts up at 9 pm and will be on ESPN and streaming on WatchESPN and comes as the team is ranked number 25 and comes in after a loss to South Carolina with a matchup against Florida looming.
Kentucky has had a disappointing run this season after coming in ranked very high to start the year and now they are 11-5 in the SEC with a matchup against the number one Gators coming up and the Wildcats are looking to make it into the conference tournament with some momentum. The Wildcats lost by five points on the road against the Gamecocks and now they host the Crimson Tide and they come into the game fourth in the nation in rebounding with over 40 per game.
The Wildcats are scoring nearly 78 points per game and rank 38th in points per game and this a matchup where they are favored and they are 21-8 on the season, while Alabama is 12-17 overall and 6-10 in the SEC conference. Julius Randle is leading the team in scoring and rebounding and Kentucky comes into the game after two straight losses and they finish the season on the road against Florida. The Gators are 16-0 this season in the SEC and Kentucky has the chance to give them a jolt at the end of the season and that will be a very anticipated matchup.
The Wildcats had won four in a row before losing at home to Florida and then the team won against Ole Miss and LSU before losing to Arkansas and South Carolina and those were tough losses and now Kentucky is looking to finish the season on a high note. Alabama comes in after a win against Auburn and they next play against Arkansas and that is the final game of the season. Bama has won two of the last three games and they are averaging just under 70 points per game this season.
