NBA Playoffs Standings 2014: Indiana Pacers Clinch Postseason As Miami Heat Close In East, San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder Battle For West Best Record

The NBA playoffs standings for 2014 are starting to come into play now that the end of the season is near and the Indiana Pacers have already clinched a postseason berth, while the Miami Heat are close in the east and out west the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets are fighting for the best record.

The playoffs in the east have Indiana and Miami ahead of everyone else by a ton and Toronto is in the third spot for now and the Brooklyn Nets could catch up. The west has the Spurs and Thunder fighting for the top, while the Houston Rockets and LA Clippers are next in line. The Bulls are hanging around in the east, while the Atlanta Hawks have the number eight seed in the east and the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons are chasing that hard.

The west has all its playoff teams over .500 and that is the opposite of the east, although only two are under now after like six were earlier in the season. The Thunder are a half game back of the Spurs, while the Rockets and Clippers are next ahead of the Blazers. The Memphis Grizzlies are hanging onto the eighth spot over the Phoenix Suns and Timberwolves.
