Rafael Nadal has continued his strong play from last season into this year and now he faces off against Alexandr Dolgopolov at the BNP Paribas Open and the match will be streaming from the Indian Wells tennis tournament for the third round and comes streaming at 7 pm ET and starts from the Stadium 1 court.
Nadal comes in after winning the Rio Open and Roger Federer comes in with some momentum after winning in Dubai and now he is nearing 80 wins in his career and Nadal is looking to get strong heading into the final stretch before the French Open. Nadal won over Dolgopolov in Rio and now he is heading into a nice stretch before the French Open and Nadal kills it on the clay and he is likely to add another tournament to his schedule before the major.
Federer got a nice win in his last tournament and other players that made it through Indian Wells first rounds were Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Stanislas Wawrinka and Nadal had a tough time in his first match, as he dropped the first set against Radek Stepanek and ended up making a comeback and winning in three sets. Murray won against Lukas Rosol in three sets and some other players that struggled included Tomas Berdych, who lost and Stanislas Wawrinka, who won.
Nadal has played very well in his time at three tournament through the years and he had made it into the semis or finals in each of the last eight years. Nadal had a very strong season coming back from surgery last year and now he has his top ranking back and is one of the strongest players at this tournament. Nadal has won over Dolgopolov all the times they have played and the last one was in Rio and that gave Rafa the title there and it came after he lost in the Australian Open.
Nadal looked like he had the Aussie Open all set, but he was injured and ended up losing to Wawrinka and now he is looking to get the next one in Roland Garros. Nadal kills it on the clay and he has won there so many times and now he has the chance to do it again.
