NCAA Tournament Results: Sweet 16 Has Dayton Flyers, Florida Gators, Arizona Wildcats, Wisconsin Badgers Into Elite 8 Bracket

The NCAA Tournament has the Dayton Flyers, Florida Gators, Arizona Wildcats and Wisconsin Badgers into the Elite 8 and now the games on Friday in the Sweet 16 will fill out the brackets in the east, west, south and midwest with Michigan, Tennessee, UConn, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State and Virginia in action starting up at 7:15 pm.

Dayton has taken over as the official Cinderella of the tournament and they got past Stanford and are now in the elite eight after starting the tournament with an upset of Ohio State and they now match up with the number one overall seed in the tournament in the Florida Gators, who defeated the UCLA Bruins on Thursday night. Wisconsin matches up with Arizona and that has the number two seed and the number one seed in that regional final, while the east has Michigan State and Virginia playing in the one-four matchup.

Wisconsin dominated Baylor, while the Gators took control against the Bruins and held them off and they now appear to be the favorites heading into the Elite 8. The Gators went undefeated in the SEC this season and they now have won 29 games in a row and have looked very impressive and so has Arizona, which won despite a struggling Nick Johnson and Aaron Gordon helped lead the way in the victory with 15 points and seven rebounds and he has been as impressive as anyone in the tournament.

The games on Friday are great and the Louisville and Kentucky matchup is by far the most intriguing with John Calipari and Rick Pitino facing off and that game is the second one on TBS. The Tennessee and Michigan game starts things off before the UConn and Iowa State matchup, while the Michigan State Spartans finish against Virginia on the TV schedule as the final game.
