NBA Draft Outlook: Charlotte Bobcats and Thomas Robinson

Thomas Robinson is predicted to go second in the 2012 NBA Draft after Anthony Davis.

What does Robinson possess that makes him worthy of a second pick?

Speed, power and athletism.

He can score from the perimeter as he shoots well from the outside and he can blow by defenders and get to the paint.

Anthony Davis finished with an amazing season and beat out Robinson for the Player of the Year award.

Robinson averaged almost 18 points and 12 rebounds a game, finishing with 27 double-doubles, a school record.

Robinson could help spark the Bobcat offense and toughen up their defensive, especially on the boards.

The Bobcats simply had a miserable season. There is no need to elaborate on there 7-59 record.

They were dominated in almost every game. The Bobcats averaged the lowest points, field goal percentage and points per shot in a game last season.

They were second to last in rebounding. Only the Boston Celtics did a worse job on the boards.

Michael Jordan needs to gain some credibility as an owner of the franchise.

He has made questionable moves all his career and will have to find a way to atone his previous errors.

The Bobcats lost out the No. 1 draft pick to the Hornets even after they had a 25 percent chance of winning the first pick.

If Robinson is chosen, the Bobcats will have a solid player they can build around, despite the fact that he is not the guy who is 6' 11 and sporting a unibrow.
