NCAA Scores and Bracket Results: Michigan Wins Over Tennessee, UConn Advances To Elite 8 Over Iowa State In Sweet 16

The NCAA Tournament bracket is into the Elite 8 and on Friday night Michigan and UConn both advanced from the Sweet 16 against Tennessee and Iowa State in close games, with the Wolverines holding on after a rally from the Volunteers, while the Huskies won in front of their home fans in Madison Square Garden and got past the Cyclones.

UConn could be a solid pick heading into the Final Four and national title game and as those games ended, Kentucky is taking on Louisville, while Michigan State is going up against Virginia. The Huskies got a great game from DeAndre Daniels and he had 18 points in the second half of the game and had 26 overall and he got some help from Shabazz Napier and now they have the chance to make a run to the title just a few years after Kemba Walker led the team to a championship.

The Cyclones and the Huskies had a tight game at the end but UConn was able to hold off the run from Iowa State and now they are awaiting the winner of Michigan State and Virginia. Florida and Dayton made it into the Elite 8 in the south region, while the west has the number one and two seed with Arizona and Wisconsin.

Check here for the scores and bracket results from Friday night.
