The Houston Rockets and the Brooklyn Nets are playing live on the NBA schedule on Tuesday night and the matchup between the east and west rivals comes from the Barclays Center and on TV from TNT and the game is streaming online and comes at 8 pm ET as Dwight Howard and Deron Williams push towards the playoffs.

The Rockets have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season and the come into the game after a loss against the LA Clippers and that game saw 32 points from James Harden and he also added six assists while the Man from Turkey Omer Asik had 11 boards and now the team comes into the Nets game needing one win to get to 50. They will play the Raptors next on the road and they come into the game as one of the best offensive teams in the league, averaging over 105 points to rank second in the NBA and they have been great on the boards, averaging 45 per game to rank fifth in the league.

The Nets come into the game after a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves and they got 232 points from Paul Pierce in that game and the team has played much better in the second half and now is in the top part of the east. The Nest play their crosstown rivals in the NY Knicks on Wednesday and that game will be at Madison Square Garden and comes as the Knicks are fighting hard to make it in as the last playoff team in the east. The Knicks desperately need that game as they return home from a west coast road trip and without it they may miss the playoffs.

The Nets come into the game averaging nearly 100 points per game and that puts them at 20th in the league and they come in 29th in rebounding, but they are ninth in points allowed and have been a strong defensive team while averaging double figures.
