San Diego Padres vs. Cleveland Indians Live Stream Watch Online Streaming MLB Baseball Game

The San Diego Padres and Cleveland Indians are playing an early game on Wednesday as part of a doubleheader after a postponed game and the MLB schedule has a 12:05 pm ET start time as the two teams matchup for a couple games and it will be streaming from the MLB.com website and is the interleague series for this week.

The Indians come into the game after making the playoffs last season under Terry Francona and the matchup has the Padres looking to bounce back after a loss to Cleveland on Tuesday and that saw John Axford get his third save already this season. The two teams are playing at Progressive Field and the doubleheader comes since the Padres are not making a trip back east to Cleveland this season and both sides needed to get the game in.

The series will finish up with the matchups on Wednesday and the pitchers for the first game will be Zach McAllister for the Indians and Eric Stults for the Padres, while Trevor Bauer will get the next game for Cleveland. Stults comes in after having a rough start to the season and he comes in after putting up 11 wins last year on his record and he is coming off of a game where he allowed five runs against the Marlins and now he is looking to get back on track on the road, where he has been shaken up over his past 15 starts according to the AP. The Indians come into the game second in the AL Central and they are looking to battle with the Detroit Tigers in the division this season and the Royals should be even better than they were last year after finishing with a winning record for the first time in a decade.

David Murphy and Nyjer Morgan have been playing well for the Indians and they are looking for a series sweep with the games on Wednesday and those two names were big reasons why the team was able to win on Tuesday and they also helped win against the Twins this weekend, as Murphy had a home run and Morgan added two doubles on Sunday. The Indians are 12th in the league in runs in the early goings and they are hitting .258 for 11th in the MLB and they have been doing a good job of getting on base, ranking sixth in the league so far. The pitching has not been nearly as good, as they rank in the bottom half of the league in ERA to start the season.

The Padres have struggled so far on offense and they are 27th or lower in the league in runs, on base and slugging percentage as well as batting average. The pitching is looking to rebound and this comes as the Padres have their biggest payroll ever and they will look to quiet Murphy, who had four RBIs for the Indians to get the win on Tuesday.
