The NY Mets and LA Angels are playing live on the MLB schedule and the two teams are playing at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the game is at 10:05 pm ET and has Dillon Gee taking on Tyler Skaggs and the matchup is the interleague series on the schedule and comes after the team won over the Braves and now they will start a series in Cali.
The game on Saturday will have the pitching matchup between Jered Weaver and Jonathon Niese and both teams come into the game at 4-5 on the season and while that isn't great, it could be worse for the Mets and it could be better for the Angels. The Angels lost to open the season in a three game series against the Mariners in a sweep that was Seattle's first there in a decade and now they are trying to come back in the AL West, which suddenly looks very wide open for everyone apart from the Houston Astros.
The Mets come into the game after winning over the Atlanta Braves and they are now playing the Angels and are ranked 22nd in the league in runs and 30th in batting average in the early goings. Ike Davis hit that grand slam, but the team been lacking on offense and they rank 28th in on base percentage and 29th in slugging percentage and they will be looking for everyone to get back on track, including Curtis Granderson and David Wright. The team has been solid pitching and their ERA is just over four and they are ranked 10th in quality starts and are hoping that the rotation can handle things with Matt Harvey out for the season.
