Carlos Gomez Baseball Fight Brawl Video With Pirates As Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Battle With Travis Snider Ejected Punches Thrown

Everyone loves a good baseball brawl and on Sunday Carlos Gomez helped incite one as the Milwaukee Brewers and the Pittsburgh Pirates played an NL Central division game, as he hit what he thought was a home run off Gerritt Cole, flipping his bat as he watched the ball go before rushing into third with a triple.

According to Hardball Talk, Gomez, Travis Snider and Milwaukee bench coach Jerry NArron all were ejected from the game in the third inning after the incident, which saw punches thrown after Gomez came in safe at third base. After flipping his bat Gomez made it in with a headfirst slide at third base and once he got in there, Cole stepped up towards Gomez and the two shouted at each other and naturally the bullpen and the benches emptied out onto the field. Travis Snider got involved and so did Martin Maldonado and punches started throwing and this is not the first time Gomez has been involved in an incident, as he was in a brawl with the Braves after hitting a home run against Paul Maholm.

Gomez has been in this situation before and had a dispute and a similar incident last season and after the game he said to reporters that he was not "apologetic" about what he did and at first thought it was a fly ball out before he realized it went off the wall. Cole said after the game that he said to Gomez it was disrespectful to stop and watch the ball and the fight broke out after the two had words.
