Manchester United News and Rumors: Louis van Gaal Red Devils Manager As Ryan Giggs Stays On

Manchester United has decided to fire manager David Moyes after the Everton game last weekend and now Ryan Giggs will take over the team as interim manager until the English Premier League season is over and now the Red Devils may look at names like Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti, Diego Simeone,  Louis van Gaal and Gary Neville as replacements to be the next boss at Old Trafford.

According to ESPN.com, Manchester United made the announcement on Twitter and wrote that Ryan Giggs would be taking over for the rest of the season. Moyes lost in his return to his former team in Everton and now that ends hit short and disappointing run with the team.

Manchester United has had a very tough season in 2013-14 and they are seventh on the league table and out of qualifying position and the club decided to ditch Moyes after his latest loss and that was to Everton in an important game at Goodison Park for the Red Devils and now just one year after bringing him in, the team needs to replace him. The attack has been stagnant and the team has not played well in front of the home fans at Old Trafford either and now Ryan Giggs will take over in the meantime as the club tries to find a new boss for next season.

United has 17 wins this season in 34 matches played and they have six draws and 11 losses with 56 goals scored and 40 allowed and they have gone just 7-3-6 at home and that is another reason why he was let go. Things really started to take a turn when Man U was eliminated from the FA Cup in the third round and that was their earliest loss in the tournament in decades and that put a bad taste in the mouth of fans and it continued with tough losses the rest of the season.

The team finishes with three straight matches at Old Trafford and that came after three straight away matches and that could be one reason why the club opted to do it now. The team lost 2-0 away at Everton and now they play against Norwich City, Sunderland, Hull City and then away against Southampton to end the season and Giggs will be in charge for that. The team was eliminated from the Champions League by Bayern Munich and they have suffered some tough losses, including to Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle United and a tough 2-2 draw with Fulham later in the season.
