Right after their Game 4 104-98 defeat, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook hit the press conference.
They were obviously not happy.
When asked about the foul on the jump ball Westbrook committed on Mario Chalmers, he admitted to not knowing the situation. He said there was a misunderstanding.
Kevin Durant gave props to Westbrook for making shots and keeping them in the game.
Westbrook said that regardless of how many points he scored, they still did not get the victory and that is all that matters.
Durant looks completely demoralized and was not making a lot of contact with the reporters.
After 94-92 lead, Westbrook described the Heat as doing the little things at the end of the game to take over and walk out with the win.
They were not worried about LeBron coming back from his injury. Durant said he just wanted to get his guys together on the floor during the closing minutes of the game.
Westbrook admitted that he does not care what the journalists say. His goals in the playoffs is to get the Thunder the win.
He has been criticized heavily for not getting teammates involved, but today, everybody is tipping their hats to Westbrook, even, just recently, Stephen A. Smith offered a public apology.
