Colorado Rockies vs. Kansas City Royals Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Baseball Streaming

The Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies are playing on the MLB afternoon schedule on Wednesday for their interleague series at Kauffman Stadium and the matchup starts up at 2:10 pm ET and is streaming online from MLB.com and comes as the Rockies have been killing it on offense this season and they are right in the mix for the division as the schedule pushes through May.

The Rockies and the Royals each came in with high expectations this season and Colorado has started to deliver on that promise, as they are ranked first across the board in the major offensive categories in baseball this season. The game has the Rockies coming in at second in their division and that is a big difference from last season when they didn't contend from start to finish and one of the main reasons they have played so well is due to the offensive side of the ball, as they have been crushing it and both Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki have been at the forefront. The matchup on the mound has Jason Vargas and Jhoulys Chacin going at it and the Rockies come into things second in the division with 23 wins and they are looking to keep that going.

The Royals finished with a winning record for the first time in a decade last season and they are looking to get over .500 and they come in at 19-19 and Vargas has been pitching well, going 3-1 this season with a 3.04 Era. The Rockies come in after falling to the Royals and they lost to James Shields, while the team will start a series next with the Padres and starter Jorge De La Rosa will be next on the mound for the team.

The Rockies come into the game first in home runs, slugging, runs, on base and batting average this season and the pitching has been good enough to keep them going, ranking 20th in ERA, 18th in quality starts and 16th in BAA. The team is trying to get ahead in the NL west and they have the offense to do it, while the Royals are second in the central division behind the Tigers and they are trying to make the playoffs for the first time in ages. The team is 21st in runs and ninth in batting average and they will start a series next with the Baltimore Orioles and that will be at home on Friday.
