NHL Playoffs Standings: LA Kings Win Over Anaheim Ducks In Game 7 For Chicago Blackhawks Series

The Los Angeles Kings won Game 7 over the Anaheim Ducks to advance to the western conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks and the game was not close, as the Kings won by the score of 6-2 and that gave them the series 4-3 after goals from Jeff Carter and Marian Gaborik.

The Kings dominated the game from the start after scoring three goals in the first period and they were up 5-1 heading into the final period and now they will play the Blackhawks. The New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens are into the east finals and now these are the final four teams of the playoffs.

Jeff Carter scored for the Kings, while Gaborik had his league leading ninth goal in the postseason and they scored along with Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams. Jonathan quick had another great game, making 25 saves to win his second straight Game 7 after defeating the San Jose Sharks.

The Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks are playing on the NHL schedule for their playoffs Game 7 in the western conference semifinals and it comes after LA won the last game to force the matchup and it will be live online from TV on the NBC Sports Network from the Live Extra website and has the teams looking to meet the Blackhawks in the conference finals and it starts up at 9 pm ET from the Honda Center in Cali.

The Kings and Ducks have played a great series and the Kings know what it's like to rally after coming back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the San Jose Sharks and now they are in Game 7 on the road again. The team has gotten some fantastic play from Jonathan Quick and now the two Cali teams will see who faces off against the Blackhawks, while the Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens are playing in the eastern conference.

The team has been getting some clutch offense from Marian Gaborik, as he is leading the Kings with eight goals during the playoffs and he scored some amazing goals, including the game inner in overtime after tying it with less than 10 seconds left in the third of that game. Anze Kopitar has been playing great as well and he is leading the team in points and assists and that has matched what Ryan Getzlaf has done for the Ducks, as he leads his team in those categories as well. Gaborik is leading the Kings in shots, while Corey Perry has that for the Ducks and now the two teams will battle in Game 7 of the playoffs series to see who will make it to the western conference finals.
