The NFL offseason is moving into the workouts phase and that hasn't stopped some trade rumors, including Adrian Peterson to the Dallas Cowboys as well as names like Kirk Cousins, Ryan Mallett, Christian Ponder, LaMichael James and Mark Ingram and some of those players could receive interest from the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns or Philadelphia Eagles before training camp starts.
The Peterson trade rumors are nothing concrete, but Mike Freeman from Bleacher Report wrote after the draft that the Vikings and AP likely will be coming to a split soon and if it doesn't happen this year it likely will happen next year.
Cousins likely will not be traded before training camp, but he could be an option to get moved during the season as well, especially if someone goes down with an injury on another team. Cousins had a chance to get traded, as the Browns offered a fourth round pick for him at the draft, but Washington said no. The team has Colt McCoy and they could use him as the backup for RG3 and that would allow them to trade Cousins if they want to.
Ingram could be a nice fit for the Cowboys as well along with the Denver Broncos, Browns or Bears, as he could be a perfect backup option and compliment in the backfield for those teams. Ingram is a tough runner and while he has struggled with injuries in his career, he has plenty of talent and now does not have as much wear and tear as other backs his age.
LaMichael James fits in the same category and with his speed he could make a great impact for a number of teams in the rushing game and on special teams. James has not been able to find the field for the Niners with Frank gore there and now that they have drafted Carlos Hyde he is even more unlikely to get onto the field.
